Full upper screw retained implant supported bridge

The patient presented with heavily decayed upper dentition 16, 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26. All of the teeth were judged by the dentist to be beyond saving.

Selective extractions were carried out by the dentist and five implants placed. Fixture head impressions were then taken of the implants and remaining dentition. Biterite fabricated a long term provisional using titanium cylinders and acrylic. All remaining standing teeth were removed from the model.

The dentist then extracted all the remaining standing teeth and fitted the long term provisional, which was worn for 6 months.

Biterite then fabricated special trays and a screw-retained bite block. Fixture head impressions were taken and the bite recorded using the screw-retained bite block.

We then completed a metal try in of the framework to check passivity, followed by porcelain application and a bisque try in. The case concluded with a final glaze and fit of the PFM screw-retained bridge.

Both patient and dentist confirmed being extremely pleased with our work on this case.
