Our pressable ceramics offer the ideal solution when a balance between both aesthetics and strength are required.

The marginal adaptation is far superior to other techniques as the material is pressed on to a refractory die; providing an absolutely accurate marginal fit. Combined with the elimination of metal substructures this creates the truly natural look that patients both expect and require.

We offer two pressable systems from Ivoclar Vivadent; a leading provider of pressable ceramics for the last 15 years.

 IPS Empress
Used for the creation of veneers, inlays, onlays and single unit crowns in both the anterior and posterior aspects of the mouth.

IPS Empress is a Lucite glass-ceramic material which scatters light like natural enamel and blends seamlessly with the surrounding dentition. Restorations fabricated with the material exhibit lifelike translucency and a true-to-nature appearance whilst also providing a flexural strength of 160Mpa.

 IPS E. Max
Used for anterior bridge work (maximum of 3 units), veneers and single unit crowns for both posterior and anterior aspects of the mouth.

IPS E. Max Press is a new lithium desilicate glass-ceramic material which has excellent biocompatibility and lifelike aesthetics independent of the shade of the prepared tooth, it provides an impressive flexural strength of 400Mpa.
